At Beyond the Books Learning, we believe that every child is unique and deserves an education that respects their individuality. Our small class sizes and our approach prioritizes play-based learning in a language-rich environment, ensuring that children grow into confident, creative, and capable individuals.
We also allow parents/ guardians to attend sessions if needed!
In partnership with parents and guardians, we create individualized programs that adapt to your child's needs, rather than expecting your child to adapt to our program.

We believe that every child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, and learning pace. By honoring each child's individuality, we foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning that will carry them through every stage of their development.
We follow a "whole child" holistic approach designed to support the development of a wide range of skills, including problem-solving, communication, creativity and critical thinking. Play-based experiences that are carefully planned and designed to align with children's interests and abilities, while also promoting their learning and growth. We believe that the play based learning approach builds strong foundational skills, higher-order thinking skills, and social-emotional competence while supporting self-regulation and behavior management. Fundamentals, Handwriting Without Tears and the Play-to-Learn Preschool Curriculums are integrated into daily activities. We are committed to providing a rich and stimulating learning environment that supports the child's development in all areas.

Yes! For an additional fee of $50. your child can attend a full day of "Club" at Beyond the Books Learning when Baltimore County Public Schools are closed.
Our Premium Pre-preschool Program follows the BCPS calendar.

Pre-preschool classes are for children 3 years and up!
Before and After School Club is for students in PreK to 5th grade.

Beyond the Books Learning offers the smallest class sizes in town, a max of 6 students per class!

Beyond the Books Learning will provide snacks, but we do NOT have a kitchen, so all meals must be brought from home. There is a full size refrigerator, microwave, and a water cooler located in the classroom.
